Though functional chocolate is similar to chocolate, it should be refrigerated as it has zero added preservatives. They stay good for upto 4 days on the go!! However properly stored, it is shelf stable for many months. Once opened storing in a sealed container will maximize the shelf life and taste of your chocolate.
While technically you cannot cook functional chocolate as heating the active & raw ingredients and botanicals can reduce their efficiency, so we do not recommend cooking with Functional Chocolate. However, Functional Chocolate pairs well with many snacks and beverages.
